You will go for interview at the embassy

If you are renewing the same visitor visa, I don’t think you have to do the interview again

Young children and old people more than 79 years old don’t have to do interview

Yes, maybe. Sometimes they ask for interview, sometimes no. Depends embassy and your personal case.
