The I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, is a form filed with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) by a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident to establish a qualifying family relationship with a foreign national relative. Once approved, it allows the relative to begin the process of applying for a green card.
