Spending the winter in Wisconsin feels very different from what I am used to, especially with Christmas approaching. I am trying to plan travel, gatherings, and time off while staying within the rules of my immigration status. Are there any immigration concerns I should keep in mind when traveling, hosting family, or adjusting plans during the Christmas holidays in the United States?

Holiday travel is generally allowed, but it depends on your current visa status. You should make sure your documents are valid before leaving and reentering the country. Hosting family members does not change your immigration status. Always avoid activities that could be interpreted as unauthorized work.

As long as you follow your visa conditions, celebrating Christmas does not create immigration issues.

Travel delays are common during the holidays, so plan carefully. Keeping copies of your immigration documents can help if issues arise.
