We are in a same-sex marriage. Will that affect the green card process?

No, same-sex marriages are treated equally under U.S. immigration law.

You can file Form I-130 (Petition for Alien Relative) just like any other married couple.

If you're in a conditional marriage (under 2 years), you’ll still need to remove conditions later with Form I-751, regardless of your gender.

If you married in a country that doesn’t recognize same-sex marriage, try to marry in a U.S. state or country that does, so your marriage is valid for immigration.
