Treat as urgent pls. What are the steps for getting a green card if I was born in a country on the U.S. travel ban list?

That's a tricky one but not impossible. You might be able to get a green card through family, work, or asylum—if you meet the right criteria. But my suggestion is to chat with a lawyer. you save yourself some trouble that way.

Check if you can get a waiver, like through marriage.

To get a green card from a country on the U.S. travel ban list, you'll need to explore exceptions (e.g., family sponsorship, employer petitions) and apply for a waiver.
