My green card renewal was delayed, and my driver’s license will expire soon. Can I still drive legallly??

I faced this too! Some states allow extensions with an I-797 receipt. Check your DMV—I had to show mine to keep driving legally.

It depends on your state's DMV rules. Some states allow you to renew your license with I-797C receipt notice for your green card renewal. Check your local DMV for options. If your license expires, you may not be able to drive legally.
