My brother got a tourist visa, but plan to marry his U.S. citizen boyfriend shortly after arriving. Will this look like visa fraud? I told him be careful.

Hmmmmm... Entering on a tourist visa with intent to marry and stay can raise red flags for fraud.

If his plans change after arrival, it’s possible to adjust status — but I agree with you, he needs to be careful.

Yes, marrying shortly after arriving on a tourist visa can appear as visa fraud, as it suggests misrepresentation of intent. It’s best to consult an immigration attorney for guidance.
