USCIS doesn’t require a wedding ceremony only a legally valid marriage certificate issued by a government authority.

A court or civil marriage is perfectly acceptable for immigration, even without a celebration.

If you skipped a ceremony due to finances, timing, or personal reasons, explain that in your relationship statement.
