Is green card affected by deportation?

If you commit any of various types of crimes (not only a felony), or if you are caught with a controlled substance (illegal drugs), you may be subject to deportation and lose your right to a US green card

Yes, usually being deported it will take away your green card, I went through a similar experience with my cousin

Immigrants who have obtained a green card can live and work in the US on a permanent basis, Although green cards give immigrants permanent legal status, it does not exempt them from being deported in certain cases
