I'm a refugee who has been resettled in the US. How do I apply for citizenship?

As a refugee, you're eligible to apply for a green card after one year of residency in the US. After maintaining green card status for at least five years, you can apply for citizenship.

You'll need to meet the eligibility requirements, prepare for the citizenship test, and submit your application through US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)
