I recently moved to the U.S. on a work visa, but I’ve been offered a better job. Can I switch employers, or do I need to reapply for a new visa?

You’ll need a new visa, but hey, congrats on the job offer!

It depends on your visa type

if you have an H-1B visa, your new employer must file an H-1B transfer petition on your behalf
