I lost my Green Card. How do I replace it?

You must file Form I-90 to replace your Green Card.

 If you need to work, travel, or prove your status, you can call USCIS and request an I-551 stamp in your passport while your replacement is pending.

 It’s a good idea to file a police report, especially if you’re concerned about identity theft or fraud.

 If you’re abroad and lose your card, contact the nearest U.S. consulate for help returning with temporary documentation.
