I have a pending green card application, but I need to travel abroad for an emergency. Can I leave the U.S.?

You can travel only if you have an approved Advance Parole document (Form I-131). Leaving without it may result in your green card application being denied.

You need Advance Parole (Form I-131) approval. Traveling without it may lead to green card denial.
