I came to the U.S. on a student visa, but I recently got married to a U.S. citizen. How do I switch to a marriage-based green card?

You must file Form I-485 (Adjustment of Status) with USCIS, along with supporting documents like your marriage certificate and proof of legal entry. An interview may be required.

File Form I-485 (Adjustment of Status), submit required documents, and attend the interview.
