Do I absolutely need a lawyer for immigration processes, or are there parts I can manage on my own? Trying to figure out the best approach

I’ve personally done a visa application without a lawyer, and it went smoothly because I followed the instructions carefully. But for a green card process later, I worked with an attorney to avoid error it was money well spent.

I’ve seen people get through immigration processes alone without hiring lawyers. But when my friend had a complex case, they needed legal help. So I think it really depends on how simple or tough your situation is

It’s up to you, honestly. If you feel confident navigating USCIS guides and instructions, you can do most of it yourself. But any small mistake can lead to delays, so a lawyer might be worth it for peace of mind

You don’t really need a lawyer for everything. If your case is simple, like renewing a visa or something straightforward, you can handle it yourself. But for tougher stuff, like waivers or tricky interviews, I think a lawyer really helps

You can handle some immigration processes yourself, like filling out forms, but complex cases benefit from a lawyer to avoid mistakes and legal issues. It depends on your situation.
