Can U.S. citizenship be obtained for a child born outside the U.S. if one parent is a U.S. citizen?

Yep! If one parent’s a U.S. citizen, the kid can usually get U.S. citizenship too. There are some rules, but it’s definitely possible.

A child born outside the US can get US citizenship if one parent is a citizen if that citizen parent meets residency or physical presence requirements
