Basically, in this you are protected from deportation while waiting, as long as you follow all rules.

In this situation make sure the government knows your current address, so you get all notices.

Always go to your court hearings because missing one can be lead to a deportation order.

You can ask for a stay of removal which means delay of deportation, if your case is still pending.
