Are there specific industries in the U.S. where getting a visa is easier? Or is it just luck?

Honestly, I think it’s easier if you’re in STEM fields, like tech or engineering. The U.S. actively seeks skilled professionals in these areas, and visas like H-1Bs often prioritize those industries. But even then, there’s a lot of competition.

From what I’ve heard, creative industries like entertainment and sports also have specialized visa categories, like O-1 visas for extraordinary talent. So if you’re an artist or athlete, you might have a unique pathway

I’ve gone through this, and honestly, it felt like being in a high-demand field gave me an advantage. I’m in software engineering, and the process was smoother because my employer sponsored me, but I know other industries can struggle more

It’s kind of a mix of luck and timing, but yeah, industries like tech and healthcare seem to have an easier time with visa approvals, especially for employment-based categories. But things can change depending on policy shifts too.
