My H-1B visa is expiring in three months. What are my options if my employer doesn’t renew it?

If your H-1B won’t be renewed, you can switch to another visa (like H-1B transfer, F-1, or B-2), apply for a green card, or prepare to leave the U.S.

So If your H-1B isn’t renewed, you may actually transfer to a new employer, change to another visa status, apply for a green card, or leave the U.S. before it expires.

With your H-1B expiring soon, you can switch employers, apply for a different visa, begin a green card process, or plan to leave the U.S. before your status ends.
