My dad has a green card and wants to sponsor my mom who lives abroad. How long will it take for her to get a visa?

It usually takes about 1 to 2 years for a green card holder to sponsor a spouse, but wait times can vary based on processing backlogs and country of origin.

Actually It takes around 12–24 months, but timing depends on USCIS processing and your mom’s home country. Starting the process soon is key.

So it usually takes around 1 to 2 years, but it can vary. Best thing is to file ASAP and keep an eye on USCIS updates.
