If I became a citizen as a child because I was under the age of 18 with my father got his citizenship I automatically got it but I never completed the paperwork as an adult to have a citizenship on paper how do I go about applying to get my certificate as of right now I have a permanent resident alien card but I am a citizen due to my father being one before I was 18 and I was only under his care what do I do do I file for citizenship or update status?

Hello, trying hard to understand your question. But I think you can file Form N-600 (Application for Certificate of Citizenship) with USCIS to obtain your proof of U.S. citizenship.

Alternatively, apply for a U.S. passport directly using your father’s naturalization certificate and your birth records.
