I entered the U.S. on a fiancé visa but we didn’t marry. Can I stay if I marry someone else now?

You cannot adjust status in the U.S. through another marriage if you entered on a K-1 visa and didn’t marry your original petitioner.

You may have to leave the U.S. and apply for a spousal visa from abroad through consular processing.

There are limited exceptions, so speaking with an immigration attorney is strongly recommended.
