Check if your daughter automatically became a U.S. citizen (usually if one parent naturalized before she turned 18, and she had a green card and lived with you).

She's became a citizen because she was under 18 that was from 2018 but I'm hearing now that she needs her own certificate even though she has a United States passport, how can I get the certificate for her now? Do I have to go to Hartford to get it for her?

Collect her birth certificate, her green card, your naturalization certificate or U.S. passport, and proof she lived with you.

Once approved, you’ll receive her official Certificate of Citizenship a lifelong proof of U.S. citizenship.
