No, if you filed for adjustment of status (I-485) while in the U.S., you can stay, but don’t travel without advance parole or your application could be considered abandoned.

No, if you’ve filed Form I-485 (Adjustment of Status) while already in the U.S., you can stay legally

You should stay in the U.S. unless you have an approved Advance Parole travel document.
