Can someone with Temporary Protected Status (TPS) sponsor a family member?

TPS holders cannot file family-based I-130 petitions unless they are also a green card holder or U.S. citizen.

However, some TPS recipients may qualify for adjustment of status through marriage to a U.S. citizen.

TPS does not provide a path to green card by itself — another qualifying relationship is needed.
