Will they ask me questions when I get to USA airport before I can enter?

The immigration officers will question you if you have a foreign passport

Yes, they can ask questions about why you are visiting and your accommodation plans.

Yes they will. If you don't have an aproved visitors visa they will detain you and will send you back on the next plane home.
