The EB-1B category is for outstanding professors and researchers who have international recognition for achievements in a specific academic field. Unlike EB-1A, EB-1B requires a permanent job offer from a qualifying U.S. employer, such as a university or research institution. The applicant must demonstrate at least two of the listed regulatory criteria, including published material, authorship of scholarly articles, or original scientific contributions.

EB1 B is for professors or researchers with international recognition and requires a job offer, while EB-1A is for any field and doesn't require a job offer

EB1A has a much higher standard of qualification than EB1B
