Humanitarian parole is a temporary permission granted by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) or U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) that allows a person who is otherwise inadmissible to enter the United States for urgent humanitarian reasons or significant public benefit.
