What is Advance Parole and do I need it to travel while my Green Card is pending?

Advance Parole lets you re-enter the U.S. legally while your adjustment of status is being processed.

Without it, leaving the U.S. may cause your application to be considered abandoned.

You must apply using Form I-131 and wait for approval before traveling.
