What happens if my I-130 petition is denied?

If your I-130 petition is denied, it means USCIS did not recognize the qualifying family relationship you claimed. The denial does not automatically prevent you from trying again, but it does stop that specific petition from moving forward.

Your green card processing will not continue. You can appeal if you want them to reconsider
