B1 visa is for business trips and b2 visa is to visit friends/family or for medical treatment

Neither visa allows paid work in the U.S., but B1 can include limited business activities that don't involve direct employment.

Get the visitor visa that is right for what you want to do there. Or you can apply for the combination visitor visa so that you can do many things

You can just get the combination visa - B1/B2, so it can cover many activities
