You can apply for an extension of stay (Form I-539) before your visa expires—ideally at least 45 days in advance

If you qualify for a different visa category, you may be able to switch your status.

Speak to an immigration attorney to see if you qualify for humanitarian options like asylum or Temporary Protected Status (TPS).

Avoid overstaying—leaving before your visa expires will help maintain your eligibility for future visas.

Check the expiration date on your I-94 record (not your visa stamp) to make sure you’re actually still in valid status.

You must apply for extension before expire. If not, maybe problem later. Talk to immigration office quick, ok?
