What are the benefits and risks of applying for U.S. citizenship as a Green Card holder, and can I lose my Green Card if my application is denied?

While a green card allows you to live and work in the U.S. indefinitely, there are some major benefits of U.S. citizenship that a green card does not offer.

The benefits vary as well since it's case by case

In most cases, your green card remains unaffected even after your US Citizenship Application is denied.
