Can I apply for a work permit if I have DACA or TPS?

Yes, DACA and TPS both allow you to apply for a work permit (EAD).

If you have approved DACA, you're eligible to receive a work permit valid for up to 2 years.

TPS (Temporary Protected Status) also allows you to apply for a work permit as long as your TPS is active.

 if your DACA or TPS expires or is denied, your work permit becomes invalid.
