What options do I have for staying in the US legally if my L-1 visa is expiring due to company downsizing?

You may be eligible for a 60-day grace period, after which you can explore other visa options, such as H-1B or O-1, or begin the green card process if you have an approved I-140 petition.

If your L-1 visa expires, you may get a 60-day grace period to stay in the US, after which you'll need to change status or leave.

L-1 visa holders get a 60-day grace period after expiration to explore options like change of status, extension, or other visa categories like H-1B or O-1.
