Please help. I have a Green Card but want to become a U.S. citizen. When can I apply?

If you got your Green Card through employment or family sponsorship, you can apply after 5 years.

You can apply for citizenship if you have had your green card for 5 years, or 3 years if you’re married to a US citizen
