I’ve been looking into employment-based visas—does it really take forever, or are there ways to speed it up?

Honestly, employment-based visas can take a while depending on the category. H-1Bs have a cap and lottery, so timing depends on that. Premium processing might help speed things up, but it doesn’t work for all visa types

I’ve been through this before, and yeah, the process felt like it took forever. In my case, delays were because of paperwork issues and backlogs. Staying super organized and following up helped.

It feels long because there’s so much to verify—employer sponsorship, your qualifications, and sometimes labor certifications. If your employer uses premium processing, it speeds up the USCIS decision
