I've applied for US citizenship, but I have a prior conviction for a crime involving moral turpitude. Can I still be eligible for citizenship?

To be eligible for citizenship, you must demonstrate good moral character, which may be impacted by prior convictions.

Depending on the nature of the conviction, you may be eligible to request a waiver of the good moral character requirement.
