I'm Maria, a citizen of Mexico, and I have been living in the US without documentation for 10 years. I have two US-born children and I'm married to a US citizen. Please what are my options for obtaining legal status?

You can apply for adjustment of status through your US citizen spouse.

You may be eligible for deferred action, which would allow you remain in the US without fear of deportation.

You could leave the US and apply for a visa through your US citizen spouse.

If you have a legitimate fear of persecution in Mexico, you may be eligible to apply for asylum.

I recommend consulting with an immigration attorney to determine the best course of action for your specific situation.
