I’m in the U.S. on a tourist visa, and my father just passed away back home. Will I be able to return and re-enter the U.S?

Yes, but frequent short-term exits and re-entries on a B-2 visa raise red flags at the port of entry

CBP may question your travel history and suspected intent to reside. Always carry proof of ties to your home country (job, property, family).
