I'm an F-1 student and want to apply for a driver's license, but I don't have a Social Security Number. What are my options?

Check with your state's Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) for requirements.

Gather required documentation, such as your I-20 and passport.

You can still apply! Many states let F-1 students get a driver’s license without a Social Security Number by providing a letter of ineligibility and valid immigration documents.
