I'm a Green Card holder and want to sponsor my stepchild for a Green Card. However, the child's biological father is still alive and hasn't given up parental rights. Can I still sponsor my stepchild?

To sponsor your stepchild, you'll need to establish a bona fide parent-child relationship

The relationship between your stepchild and biological father may impact the sponsorship process.

You'll need to provide documentation to prove the relationship, such as birth certificates and marriage certificates.

The stepchild's eligibility for a Green Card will depend on meeting specific requirements.
