If I’m waiting on my green card, can I still travel to other countries, or do I have to stay put?

Yeah, you can travel internationally, but only if you have Advance Parole. Without it, your green card process might get canceled

f you’re waiting for a green card, leaving the U.S. without Advance Parole is like saying goodbye to your application. Play it safe

I’ve seen people leave the U.S. while waiting, and their green card application was abandoned because they didn’t get Advance Parole first. Just don’t risk it
