I recently got married and moved to New York. My parents are currently living in South Africa, and they are in their 60s. I want to bring them to live with us in New York. I'm exploring the process of getting them here but have some concerns about their age and the requirements? Need assistance

When I was in a similar situation, I filed Form I-130 to sponsor my parents, ensured I met financial requirements with Form I-864, and prepared all necessary documents. I also considered their healthcare needs given their age. With proper planning, it worked out smoothly!

When I went through the process, I had to prove my relationship with my parents by submitting documents like their birth certificates and my citizenship proof. I ensured I had sufficient income to support them financially and addressed any health-related concerns due to their age before completing their immigration applications

As a U.S. citizen, file Form I-130 for your parents and plan for their healthcare and support needs.
