I just got a job offer from a U.S. company, but I’m outside the U.S. How can they sponsor me?

The employer can file an H-1B visa petition if the job requires specialized knowledge (typically a bachelor's degree).

If H-1B season is closed or you aren't selected, other options include L-1, O-1, or employer-sponsored green cards.

Once your visa is approved, you can attend a visa interview at the U.S. embassy or consulate.

You must enter the U.S. only after your visa start date.

Working remotely for a U.S. company while abroad doesn’t necessarily grant immigration benefits — sponsorship is still needed.
