I came to the U.S. without papers few years ago and now Im scared of getting deported—what ways I got to get legal status or protection?

If you came to the U.S. without papers and you don't want to be deported, I think you can apply for asylum, or If you have a close family member who is U.S. citizen or resident, they can help you.


Best thing is to talk to an immigration lawyer to see what you can do.

maybe you can ask for asylum if you're scared to go back. You can also try to get a U visa if you help police with crime.
