I am applying for naturalization, but I have traveled outside the U.S. multiple times. Will this affect my continuous residence requirement?

Yes, frequent or long trips outside the U.S. can affect your continuous residence. Absences over 6 months may raise concerns and need explanation.

Frequent trips abroad can affect your continuous residence requirement. Absences over 6 months may disrupt it unless you can prove otherwise; absences over 1 year typically break it.

Yes. Absences over six months can disrupt continuous residence unless you prove otherwise; trips over one year automatically break and reset your residency requirement.
