I am a bit confused, is a green card same as a U.S Citizenship

NO. A Green Card allows you to live and work in the U.S. permanently, but it does not grant you full citizenship rights. Citizenship grants you all the rights and privileges of a U.S. citizen. I hope this helps

So here's the major difference... a green card grants permanent residency, while citizenship provides full legal rights, including voting and holding public office.
