How long does it take to obtain U.S. citizenship after getting a Green Card?

It took me a year and a half, it all depends on your attorney as well bro

If you’re a green card holder with no special circumstances, you can apply for United States citizenship at least five years after obtaining your green card, You also must have physically lived in the US for at least 30 months (two-and-a-half years) out of those five years

if all goes well and you’ve provided all the paperwork that USCIS needs to make a decision, your naturalization application may be approved on the same day as your citizenship interview and exam., Otherwise, USCIS will have 120 days (four months) from the date of your citizenship
