How long can a Green Card holder stay outside the U.S. before it impacts their residency status?

They can stay outside the U.S. for up to one year without impacting their residency status, but absences over six months may raise questions about their intent to maintain U.S. residency.

Not generally advisable to stay for an extended period. But safe, I think 6 months.
